In April, two OT-Euro-Master colleagues participated in a workshop at the 94th Annual Conference of the American Occupational Therapy Association held in Baltimore.
The workshop about ‘international partnerships in occupational therapy: realities of a globally connected profession’ was based on special issue of Occupational Therapy International published in June 2012 (click here for more information)
Irene Ilott, Chair of the Board spoke about ‘think global –act local to sustain international partnerships’ and Marion Ammeraal, a graduate of the OT-Euro-Master described a European funded project to foster social inclusion with persons experiencing mental illness. The workshop provoked much discussion amongst the 80-100 delegates.
