ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

European Master of Science in Occupational Therapy

To be directly admitted to the OT-EuroMaster you need to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and strong written and verbal English communications skills. If you have a degree in Occupational Therapy which is not a Bachelor of Science degree or you do have a Bachelor of Science degree but not in Occupational Therapy but a related field - extra admission requirements apply.

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
  • English test: Overall band score of at least 6.5 for the academic IELTS-test (International English Language Testing Service) or equivalent.

The following test scores are equivalent to an Academic IELTS score of 6.5:

  • TOEFL Paper: 575
  • TOEFL Computer: 232
  • TOEFL Internet: 90
  • TOEIC: 720
  • Cambridge ESOL: CAE – C

These are the only alternative test scores we are able to accept with your application.

Possible exceptions

The European MSc in Occupational Therapy is primarily aimed at qualified Occupational Therapists who wish to continue their academic and professional development.

If you are not an Occupational Therapists you may be able to gain admission after submitting a portfolio, but please be aware that this programme does not lead to a professional qualification and licence to practice as an Occupational Therapist.

Degree

Degree in Occupational Therapy (not Bachelor of Science)

Those having a degree in Occupational Therapy which is not a Bachelor of Science degree will have to submit a professional portfolio demonstrating that they fulfil the entrance competences.

Bachelor of Science degree in related field

In exceptional circumstances applicants whose degree is not in Occupational Therapy but in a related field may be admitted to the programme.

You will have to submit an extensive professional portfolio demonstrating your entrance competences.
